- Uploaded Files: When you use our tools (Unlock, Convert, Merge), you upload Excel files. These files are processed on our servers to perform the requested operation.
- Usage Data: We may collect information on how the service is accessed and used ("Usage Data"). This Usage Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol address (e.g., IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, and other diagnostic data.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data for various purposes:
- To provide and maintain the Service.
- To process your files as requested by the tool you use (e.g., unlocking, converting, merging).
- To monitor the usage of the Service.
- To detect, prevent and address technical issues.
3. File Security and Retention
Your security is our priority. We adhere to the following file handling policy:
- Processing: Files are processed securely on temporary servers.
- Retention: All uploaded and processed files are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers within 60 minutes of processing, or immediately after you download the result, whichever comes first. We do not keep copies of your files.
- Encryption: Data transfer between your browser and our servers is protected using SSL/TLS encryption.
4. Cookies
We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and hold certain information. Cookies are files with a small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.
